In front of the huge Uman Hospitality complex, there is a tea and coffee place where free hot and cold drinks are available 24 hours a day, as well as fresh-baked pastries and cakes.

This is available to anyone in need of refreshment after their long journey, or after intense prayer at the holy site.

The kiosk will operate a few days before Rosh Hashanah, and for two days after the holiday.

Free Luggage Storage   Free Weekday Meals

From the week before Rosh Hashanah to Erev Rosh Hashanah, the Uman Hospitality complex serves free hot weekday meals to the general public. No registration is needed – simply enter the hospitality tents, and you will immediately be served a generous meal with our traditional Uman hospitality.

Free Luggage Storage   Free Luggage Storage

A special place has been set up for luggage storage. It is managed by Mr. Avraham Horwitz, and is available for any guests visiting Uman for Rosh Hashanah. Just come and deposit your belongings free of charge until you have settled in and found a place to stay.

Luggage storage operates a few days before the holiday and on weekdays only, subject to opening times.

Haircuts on Erev Rosh Hashanah  Haircuts on Erev Rosh Hashanah

As there are no hair cutting places nearby for Erev Rosh Hashanah, Uman Hospitality has set up a special hair cutting area on Foskina Street (opposite the tea & coffee kiosk). For the benefit of the public, the hair cutting machines, trimmers and equipment are available for your use free of charge.

Shoeshine Stand  Shoeshine Stand

In honor of the holiday, on Erev Rosh Hashanah you can make use of the free shoe cleaning equipment (shoe cream, shoe brushes etc.). The shoe cleaning stand is opposite the tea & coffee kiosk.
